This 2825 hectare farm is situated beyond the Pakhuis Pass (40 km of tar) and down in the Biedouw Valley for another 40 km on a gravel road. The farm offers various opportunities, mainly due to the Biedouw River which runs through it as well as the strong boreholes that will form an integral part of any further development to explore the full potential of this farm. The farm exudes a great sense of closeness to nature and offers safety and tranquillity. The valley is renowned for the panoramic floral display that erupts after the first winter rains. The Biedouw River flows during the rainy season and reverts to large pools which have been known to dry up during the driest seasons. During the rainy winter season, an earth dam is gravity fed from the river and the existing 32 hectares are flood irrigated from it. The river is flowing annually from March till November.
